"The Whisky line" Fairly newly "rescued" this embryonic heritage line provides a 22 mile return trip in restored 1950s Diesel trains. As well as a beautifully restored station at Dufftown and an impressive replica at Keith Town, the line offers attractive scenary and pleasant gardens to visit. As a fairly unsophisticated undertaking, this line has a "homespun" quality about its service which provides a particularly intimated and friendly atmosphere. This is a newly preserved railway which already offers a great day out and deserves your support!

The J15 is in the late stages of restoration so we have an LNER Y7 in reserve just in case. 19th century coaches will form the train.
