| The Water Valley Lions Club is preserving the city's rich railroad history by restoring the Water Valley Depot and providing a place for the Water Valley Casey Jones Railroad Museum. n 1988, with the assistance of Bill Knight, a former Water Vallian and IC Railroad executive, a caboose was obtained from Centrailia, Illinois. Since that time, many additional improvements have been made. Steps and a connecting deck were built between the depot, caboose and banana car. |
