| The Marine-Rail Museum, located in a former Canadian National Railway Station on Owen Sound's waterfront, contains extensive displays of artifacts, models and photographs relating to the marine and rail transportation of the area. There are also displays relating to the local woodworking, cement and shipbuilding industries that relied on those transportation services. The Owen Sound Marine-Rail Museum is operated at the Marine-Rail Heritage Centre by the Owen Sound Historical Society, which has been documenting since 1978 the history of this once bustling turn-of-the-century Ontario port. |

| The Smiths Falls Railway Museum Association was formed in 1983 to save the 1914 Station building built by the Canadian Northern Railway (CNoR). The Association currently owns 5 acres of land around the station and is the Rideau Valley Division of the Canadian Railroad Historical Association. The museum has over 10,000 items in its collection of artifacts. Some the the displays you can see: 1912 Steam Locomotive #1112, 1952 Canadian Pacific diesel locomotive #6591,Cabooses, Automobile boxcars, etc. Tour groups and Bus tours are welcome. |

| The South Simcoe Railway offers excursions to the public with a 1912 4-4-0 Canadian Pacific steam engine and restored 1920s coaches. The return trip from our station in downtown Tottenham to Beeton, Ontario takes about an hour. Tottenham is 20 km west of Highway 400 on Highway 9, just 50 minutes north of Toronto. |
