This is a magnificant museum! Everyone is so friendly, I would highly reccomend this museum for a Saturday or Sunday visit! You can visit their website at www.ceraonline.org to find more about them! Interesting collection too, I spent a whole day exploring the various relics form the 1800's to the 1950's. They have old trolleys, new trolleys, and everything in between! There is also a recently completed snack shop with EXCELLENT food! You can eat in an old RR dining car (stationary) and watch the trolleys go by across the parking lot! Highly reccomend to anyone looking for a good time and to remember the past!

They were still in process of restoration when I was there last. By the review above, they have put a lot of improvements in since I was there about twelve years ago. A person can spend a few hours looking it over.

CTM is an excellant museum to go any time. I recently was there during Railfan Weekend in September where they had trolleys and trains out. They have 4 cars in public opperation including an open (no roof) observation car from Montreal. It is a great place to go. There is plenty to do regardless of age. For the young kids, there is alot of activities in the Visitor Center. For those interested in looking at more than just the restored trolleys, you can get a tour on the last open car to run in public service in the US (CT Co. 840), and tour the museum grounds on the guided tour. Everyone is friendly and knowledgable. It is a fun 3 mile round trip (1.5 mile each way) and exciting for all ages.
