A great museum of SP steam and first generation diesels, commute coaches, RPO's, Pullmans, streamliners, and the Cascade Club diner-lounge. Operated by volunteers, don't miss the guided tours of SP steam loco 2472 by former enginemen.

The Golden Gate Railroad Museum at Hunters Point in San Francisco has been told by the Navy that it must close and move its locomotives, cars, and equipment because the Navy plans a cleanup before turning over the land to the city. GGRM is looking to move equipment to storage and to sell its excess. Check www.ggrm.org for info. Sorry to see a great little museum go. Hope they find a new home soon.
