For the first time in more than 10 years it is possible to ride over former New York New Haven and Hartford trackage between Lenox and Stockbridge. Vintage EMD and Alco Diesels, 1920s era DL&W coaches, restored 1902 Lenox Station, permanent exhibit about Gilded Age

The Berkshire Scenic offers a great train ride with a station at each end of the line. Park your car in Lenox, take the morning train to Stockbridge, get off, spend the day in town and take the last train back at the end of the day.

Excellent scenic rail excursion along the Housatonic River. Informative historic narration of the area and sites. Very professional passenger rail operation on the former New Haven
