Fascinating history of the nation's first steam operating railroad museum that I read about in TRAINS magazine. Open by appt only via www.railcitymuseum.com, this is a static museum with an incredible number of photographs, artifacts and RR memorabilia. If you visited the original Rail City, the current museum has its entire history and it is a great trip down memory lane. I was glad I took the time to make an appt.
