My favorite time to go is Fall - it is about 4 hours from DC but worth a long trip. I originally went to the East Broad Top as a turista, but fell in love with the Rockhill Trolley Museum and am now a member. One has multiple generations of families who are trolley fans as the steadfast members of this great place. Something is going on most all year 'round but Summer is their most busiest time of operation. The trolleys are lovingly cared for and one can't but like the local folks in Orbisonia. A newly re-furbed gift shop is going in. DO STOP IN and see this museum!
