It has been a few years since I rode on the WVR but I still can remember it like it was yesterday. I went near Christmas time and can remember the conductor telling history about the line and some of the greatest railroad stories around. First Rate all the way

Visited just a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised to see cars and locomotives really being restored in original paint schemes. Nice NKP caboose and two very nice coaches. A volunteer told me that they are to have original lettering finished soon and that the paint was an expensive type. They just moved in an interlocking tower that was not open to visitors (yet). First time in many years I have been there, but you can tell alot has changed for the better!
