Worth price of admission. Unchanged since mid 1980's (a great thing). All self guided. Tons of artifacts and cars to climb aboard. Aviod summers.

Very interesting collection of vintage railroading items, including some great old business cars and sleeping cars. The old passenger terminal has been restored to 1940s era and has interesing displays.````Museum is close to Galveston Strand which offers some good opportunities for restaurants and other attractions

Good selection of old cars. Low admission. A place to see in the Historic Strand section of Galveston.
