A really good museum and a surprise to find. Told the story of the ACL and rails in the Wilmington area. Really good layout. Loys of anciliary materials, as well as locos and rolling stock.

A steam engine that you can clomb aboard, a full size caboose to crawl through, and then you get to go into the museum. Many great artifacts from the days of the Atlantic Coast Line in Wilmington, three operating model railroads and a children's play area to keep them coming back. A great day out!

We took our 2-year old to this museum and he had a ball. There's a nice kid's playroom upstairs as well as a huge model railway layout - mercifully behind glass. Very nice exhibits; we all enjoyed it.
