The South Carolina Railroad Museum's mission is the preservation and interpretation of railroading in South Carolina. Collecting and preserving historical data, materials and equipment,pertaining to railroads of all kinds, and wherever situated with special emphasis on those railroads serving the State of South Carolina and the Southeastern United States. Come spend an afternoon at the South Carolina Railroad Museum. There's something for everyone! Come see freight cars, passenger cars, and even a real steam engine on display.
