Serving as the umbrella organization, the Vermont Railroad Museum will lead the development effort to create and manage the Railroad Campus, and beginning in 1999, manage the Glory Days of the Railroad Festival. In addition to the extensive volunteer efforts of model and historical railroad enthusiasts, the 494 Restoration Committee is using the latest in a series of grants to build a protective pavillion over the refurbished engine to create the focal point of the campus. Hundreds of young and old enjoyed our 7th annual festival "Glory Days of the Railroad" held on Sept. 11. Keep a look-out for next year's line-up. For more details visit out website.
