Reliving Hinton, West Virginia, as an 1800s railroad boomtown. Museum filled with uniforms, artifacts from the early days of the C&O Railway. Model train exhibit, tools used during the time of John Henry, the Steel Drivin' Man. The Hinton Railroad Museum pays further tribute to his memory with its intricately carved John Henry woodcarvings exhibit.

Located at Memorial Boulevard and 14th Street West, in Huntington's Ritter Park, this outdoor museum, owned and operated entirely by the C. P. Huntington RR Historical Society, a chapter of the NRHS, is open free every Sunday from 2-5 P.M., from Memorial Day to September 30th. Call 304-525-5884 to schedule special visits. Otherwise by appointment.

Martinsburg Roundhouse is a historic cast iron roundhouse located in Martinsburg, WV. The Martinsburg Roundhouse has under gone extensive renovation. The site includes 13 acres with three B&O railroad shop buildings. The shops were in operation until 1988. The roundhouse is one of the last reaming cast iron roundhouse left in the world. It was also the site of the First National Labor Strike of 1877 and was a key site early during the Civil War.Open for tours by appointment.

This B&O roundhouse, built in 1866, replaces the one burnt down by Stonewall Jackson during the Civil War. This facility is associated with major events in the history of the labor movement in the US, it played a major role in "the Great Railway Strike of 1877". Shops are a unique example of 19th century engineering and industrial architecture. The West Roundhouse is the oldest fully covered roundhouses in the United States.
